Dhaulagiri Trekking

Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek is the Adventurous in between Dhaulagiri trekking route of Western Nepal and this is separate from Annapurna region though it falls in same region. Trekking in Dhaulagiri provides massive mountains range of Dhaulagiri which presents several 7000m peaks which looks magnificent and eye-catching. Trekking of the main paths is not only promising, but can be enormously worthwhile, where you feel sense of adventure and an increased ability to deal with surprising Geography since it is a land of dramatic contrast. Trekking around the giant Himalayan Peak Dhaulagiri 8th highest Peaks of the world, this is one of the most challenging treks. The trek goes through big challenging mountain passes, crossing over French pass 5360m and Thapa Peak 5200m. You can have experience of challenging walk on an icy track.

Dhaulagiri Circuit Trekking in this region means an exploration of the wild. Recently reopened this thrilling region shows its long kept secrets, like the Gandaki Gorge, the deepest Gorge in the world. Dhaulagiri means "white mountain" though many mountains over the world have names which translate to White Mountain. This is without doubt the most astonishing one. Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek is quite difficult for Trekking adventure. We have Better experience about this trip because we did already many times and successful adventure explores the Glory of Himalaya.

Day 01-Arrival at Kathmandu.Welcome Program by GNT member and direct transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu with B & B plan.
Day 02-Sightseeing in Kathmandu Pashupatinath, BuddhanathStupa Overnight at Hotel with Bed & Break plan.
Day 03-Drive to Darbang by local Bus 9-10 hours and overnight at Tent.
Day 04-Trek to Dharapani 1,565m 6/7 hours overnight at Tent.
Day 05-Trek to Muri 1,850m 6/7 hours overnight at Tent.
Day 06-Trek to Bogara 2,050m 5/6 hours overnight at Tent.
Day 07-Trek to Dhoban 2,630m this day the path is quite difficult and sometime you will need the help of the ropes 6 hours overnight at Tent.
Day 08-Trek to Sallaghari or ChoribanKhola 3,110m 6 hour overnight at Tent.
Day 09-Trek to Italian Base camp 3,660m this day you will reach the Italian Base Camp where you will camp just in front of the West wall of the Dhaulagiri Passing through beautiful forest we rapidly gain altitude and mountains burst out all around. 4/5 hours overnight at Tent.
Day 10-Rest day for acclimatization Perhaps days walk to the Japanese camp for acclimatization since there is little exploring to be had this is a day to relax overnight at Tent.
Day 11-Trek to Glacier camp 4,250m After crossing the first glacier, probably using a rope in a couple of tricky spots, we climb onto the main glacier. The surroundings are spectacular which makes up for the rough and dangerous trail 6 hours overnight at Tent.
Day 12-Trek to Dhaulagiri Base camp 4,748m this day you will reach the Dhaulagiri Base Camp. Soon the rough rubble gives way to the smooth ice of the white part of the glacier. We climb steadily to the rough and chilling but spectacular Dhaulagiri Base Camp 7/ 8 hours overnight at Tent.
Day 13-Trek over French pass Hidden Valley camp 5,100m Getting off the glacier above the base camp often requires a rope, but once over the steep moraine walls we are in safer and more gentle country. After a breathless climb to the top of French pass. 6/7 hours overnight at Tent.
Day 14-Trek to Yak kharka 2,900m 6/7 hours overnight at Tent.
Day 15-Trek to Marpha 2,670m overnight at Tent.
Day 16-Trek to Jomsom 2,720m 2 ½ hours overnight Lodge.
Day 17-Early morning we take flight from Jomsom to Pokhara 25 minuets transfer to Hotel with Bed & Breakfast plan.
Day 18-Drive or fly back to Kathmandu Hotel Evening Dinner together with Typical Nepali culture.
Day 19-Departure from Kathmandu to your onward destination.

Accommodations:
We give our first priority to our guest to serve them at superior level that is what making us today Global Nepal Treks. For the accommodation we have been providing star hotels in Kathmandu and even normal guest house according to the guest demands and need. During the trek we provide standard Guest House with sound environment and hygienic food for the guest to make their trip happening and healthy. Since, Dhaulagiri Circuit trek is camping trek we provide comfortable dining, kitchen, crew, restroom tents and sleeping materials like mattress, Sleeping bags etc. We provide twin tent for our guest.

Meals:
We get paradise of food especially in the cities areas especially in Kathmandu valley. We have a lot of restaurants with different cuisine in city but during the trek we get to eat from Continental and Nepali menu especially choices like Pasta, Pizza, Mo. Mo, soup items, Potatoes items, Dal Bhat, Hot drinks Tea & Coffee etc.

Our Team:
Being homeland of Himalayas, it’s obvious to have challenging routes, High altitude problems, Weather and other conditions; any of those situations is big enough to ruin your trip. Leading around the steeply hills and rocky routes is not a job of common climbers and trekkers. Global Nepal Trekshave been providing native leaders and staffs working in this field perfectly since long years to overcome tough challenges and make your trip a golden memory. They are trained and well certified by the Government of Nepal. All of our staffs have received emergency guidance in Himalaya’s and have knowledge of first Aid for our guest. We never compromise giving safety to our staffs, therefore we provide insurance and medical services during the trek and compensation when they need especially to Porters, Kitchen member and other.

Field Staffs:
we are very much concern about the comfort of our guest and whenever it is about the staffs in the field. When we are on trek trekking through challenging route we need proper number of workers like Guide, Porter, Assistance guide, Camping members and other staffs. We provide 1 assistance guide with every 4 - 9 guests and 2 assistance guide with 10 guests. We do need strong and portable Porters to carry our weights, We provide 1 porters for 2 guest depending on guest stuffs and we allow only 25 kg for porters. We have professional and expert Guide, Leader and City guide in the field and can speak proper English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and other required. We can also manage any other staffs as per your demand.

Equipment’s:
We believe equipment does matter to make your trip easy and comfortable. Caring excessive quantity of equipment doesn’t make your adventure more interesting but the drawback. So, we request you to carry only selected and needed one and save your extra expenses for other need in trek though we have our potential porters. Warm Clothes, Down Jacket, Trouser, T-shirt, Hiking Boot, Sunglasses, Sun cream, Knife, Walking Steak, day back pack, Head Light, Sleeping Bag etc. These are the equipment's which you most carry during the trek.

Safety & Security:
Security is our primary concern! From your beginning day (we will be there to pick you up with our staffs and identity) to departure date (airport drop services) we are always there to help you. We have proper remedial services during the trek with professional staffs; first aid kit, oxygen bag and Helicopter service for emergency rescue whenever trekkers get physical Loss or altitude sickness. We have focused more on acclimatization days to get rid of altitude sickness too.

Best Season to Trek in Nepal:
Autumn (September - November) and Spring (March - May) is the best trekking season for the trekking and mountaineering in Nepal. Weather is mostly clear and temperature is moderate which offers beautiful views without any obstruction. Spring collects beautiful flowers, plants and rare animals Walking is also very much suitable during this season

Summer (June - August) and Winter (December - February). Though Summer collects heavy monsoon rainfall it is very much clear to trek around Mustang, Dolpo and Nar- Phu valley since they are rain shadow areas. Tibet is much more favorable for Tibet trek. Everest, Langtang and Annapurna are always comfortable to trek even in winter season.

Experience & Fitness:
Trekking in Nepal for Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek does not require past experience, though we have challenging route in Everest compared to Annapurna our itinerary suggests walking comfortable distances. Trekking in Himalayas always takes us to challenging altitudes and rocky routes, demands proper rest time and acclimatization to sustain their strength. We always have both listed properly in our itinerary. However certain training like Running, Skipping and other workout will definitely help you in roots.

Acclimatization:
Altitude sickness is a significant risk when trekking on any trails above about 2,500m. However good health, proper care and drinking plenty of water will definitely help you to prevent from altitude sickness. Every trekkers needs to be familiar with the heights so, for this we have life saving acclimatization days during the trek, peak climbing and expedition. We also provide certain medical support for your relief and emergency rescue through helicopter whenever guest require.

Eco Friendly:
We only leave foot prints! Global Nepal Treks is very much concern agency on environment pollution and Global Warming. We are always serious and genuine towards our garbage during the trek especially in Camping type. We collect all the rubbish and deposit it to proper place to protect our environment. We also partake in every program conducted in KEEP Kathmandu Environmental Education Project. We also suggest all travelers to protect our environment and Stop Global Warming.
