Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a mountainous region in the north central of Nepal comprising series of peaks which includes the 10th highest peak Annapurna I. Along with thirteen peaks above 8000 m, range and 16 other over 7,000m. The entire surrounding area of the Annapurna region is protected by the Annapurna Conservation Area Project within the 7,639-kilometre square range. This is the first and largest conversation area of Nepal. Laying at the east of Kali Gandaki separating from Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I is considered the most dangerous Mountain range in the world many mountaineers have tried to conquer the mountain and since 2007 statistics shows that fatality ratio of this peak is 38% which is the highest among any mountain above eight Thousand meters. The Annapurna Conversation Area organizes several world class trekking.

Annapurna Base camp (ABC) Trekking is known as Annapurna Sanctuary. Which collects height altitude peaks like Annapurna Base Camp are Machapuchare 6,993m, Mt. Annapurna I 8,091m, Mt. Annapurna II 7,939m, Mt. Annapurna III 7,555m, Mt. Annapurna IV 7,525m, Mt. Lamjung Himal 6,986m, Mt. Hiuchuli 6441m, are hundreds of small and big Peaks in Annapurna region and you will enjoy with natural hot spring will provide you another attraction to have funny of the Trek. We will reach a maximum elevation of Annapurna Base camp 4140m. Annapurna base camp trek will be 10 - 12 days depending on your time. Annapurna base camp trek takes us on a journey to uncover beauty of various mountain range, untouched remote villages and incredible forest region of the Annapurna. This Trekking route provides us really enjoy nature and culture also local peoples are inhabitants to the foreigner style.

Annapurna base camp Trek route starts from the terraced foothills of Dhampus ridge which is very near to Pokhara. We follow our trail through the Rhododendron forests of the Hinko Cave passing via the Gurung villages of Chomrong and Landrung, ascending up through Modi Khola. The path along the Modi Khola provides a spectacular view of Annapurna Base Camp 4,130m and Machapuchare Base Camp 3,880m. And Trek down back to same way down and we will change the way from Chomrung  to Ghandruk Gurung Village. This Village will provide you with a Magnificent view of South Annapurna, Himchuli and Fishtail for last minute are to explore the Himalayan Beauties in this region. And we will finally trek down to Nayapul and catch a bus to Pokhara. When you will be in Pokhara it gives more enjoyment after the trek and you will visit in Pokhara city take to relax and next day drive back to Kathmandu. Again in Kathmandu, you have a program to visit sightseeing, shopping and prepare for your final destination to return.

Day 01:Arrival at Kathmandu airport welcoming by Global Nepal Treks member and direct transfer to hotel in Kathmandu on BB plan.

Day 02:Sightseeing in Kathmandu world heritage sites Pashupatinath&Buddhanath overnight at Hotel on BB plan.

Day 03:Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by Tourist bus, it takes 6 hours and overnight at Pokharanearby lakeside Hotel on BB plan

Day 04:Drop to DhampusPhedi 833m by private transfer 1 hours’ drive than Trek to Potana it takes 4 hours walking overnight at Lodge.

Day 05:Trek to Jhino (special for Hot spring bath) 5/6 hours walking overnight at Lodge.

Day 06:Trek to Sinuwa 5/6 hours walking overnight at Lodge.

Day 07:Trek to Himalaya 5/6 hours walking overnight at Lodge.

Day 08:Trek to Annapurna Base Camp 4,130m 5 hours overnight at Lodge.

Day 09:Early morning nice view of Annapurna I 8091m, and Sunrise from Mt. Machhapuchre 6993m, also magnificent Himalayan panorama including glacier many etc., than trek back to Dovan 3 hours walking overnight at Lodge.

Day 10:Trek to Chhomrong 2,170m 5 hours walking overnight at Lodge.

Day 11:Trek to Ghandruk 1,939m 5/6 hours walking overnight at Lodge.

Day 12:Trek to Until Birethanti / Nayapul 1,050m 4 hours walking than by Bus, or Car direct to Pokhara over night at Pokhara Hotel on BB plan

Day 13:After breakfast half day visit recommended places to see Devis fall, World Peace Pagoda  than 1 hour hike down till Lake than cross the lake by boating and stop few minutes for Barahi temple than get back to other side of lake and take Lunch nearby lakeside and profit last minutes in Pokhara than back to Hotel and drop to Airport for Kathmandu over night at Hotel on BB plan. In the evening farewell dinner with typical Nepali culture

Day 14:Departure transport from your hotel to Airport for your onward destination.

Accommodations:

During the trek we provide standard Guest House with sound environment and hygienic food for the guest to make their trip happening and healthy. Meals:
We get paradise of food especially in the cities areas especially in Kathmandu valley. We have a lot of restaurants with different cuisine in city but during the trek we get to eat from Continental and Nepali menu especially choices like Pasta, Pizza, Mo. Mo, soup items, Potatoes items, Dal Bhat, Hot drinks Tea & Coffee etc.

Our Team:
Being homeland of Himalayas, it’s obvious to have challenging routes, High altitude problems, Weather and other conditions; any of those situations is big enough to ruin your trip. Leading around the steeply hills and rocky routes is not a job of common climbers and trekkers. Global Nepal Treks have been providing native leaders and staffs working in this field perfectly since long years to overcome tough challenges and make your trip a golden memory. They are trained and well certified by the Government of Nepal. All of our staffs have received emergency guidance in Himalaya’s and have knowledge of first Aid for our guest. We never compromise giving safety to our staffs; therefore we provide insurance and medical services during the trek and compensation when they need especially to Porters, Kitchen member and other.

Field Staffs:
Weare very much concern about the comfort of our guest and whenever it is about the staffs in the field. When we are on trek trekking through challenging route we need proper number of workers like Guide, Porter, Assistance guide, Camping members and other staffs. We provide 1 assistance guide with every 4 - 9 guests and 2 assistance guide with 10 guests. We do need strong and portable Porters to carry our weights, we provide 1 porter for 2 guests depending on guest stuffs and we allow only 25 kg for porters. We have professional and expert Guide, Leader and City guide in the field and can speak proper English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and other required. We can also manage any other staffs as per your demand.

Equipment’s:
We believe equipment does matter to make your trip easy and comfortable. Caring excessive quantity of equipment doesn’t make your adventure more interesting but the drawback. So, we request you to carry only selected and needed one and save your extra expenses for other need in trek though we have our potential porters. Warm Clothes, Down Jacket, Trouser, T-shirt, Hiking Boot, Sunglasses, Sun cream, Knife, Walking Steak, day back pack, Head Light, Sleeping Bag etc. These are the equipment's which you most carry during the trek.

Clothing:
Liner socks, Trekking shirts short sleeve, Thermal underwear, fleece sweaters lightweight, one heavier Easy drying long sleeved base layer shirts, woolen blends trekking socks, pair trekking pants with zip off bottoms

Outer layers
down vest, wind/rain proof over layer - jacket and pants, peak hat, headband, Warm winter hat, lightweight thermal layer hat, pair gloves, down jacket, Pair trekking boots, pare down booties Great for keeping feet warm in room and while sleeping and for in the lodge. Pair flips flops (for late night bathroom runs)

Safety & Security:
Security is our primary concern! From your beginning day (we will be there to pick you up with our staffs and identity) to departure date (airport drop services) we are always there to help you. We have proper remedial services during the trek with professional staffs; first aid kit, oxygen bag and Helicopter service for emergency rescue whenever trekkers get physical Loss or altitude sickness. We have focused more on acclimatization days to get rid of altitude sickness too.

Best Season to Trek in Nepal:
Autumn (September - November) and spring (March - May) is the best trekking season for the trekking and mountaineering in Nepal. Weather is mostly clear and temperature is moderate which offers beautiful views without any obstruction. Spring collects beautiful flowers, plants and rare animals Walking is also very much suitable during this season.

Summer (June - August) and winter (December - February). Though summer collects heavy monsoon rainfall it is very much clear to trek around Mustang, Dolpo and Nar- Phu valley since they are rain shadow areas. Tibet is much more favorable for Tibet trek. Everest, Langtang and Annapurna are always comfortable to trek even in winter season.

Experience & Fitness:
Trekking in Nepal for Annapurna Base Camp Trek does not require past experience, though we have challenging route in Everest compared to Annapurna our itinerary suggests walking comfortable distances. Trekking in Himalayas always takes us to challenging altitudes and rocky routes, demands proper rest time and acclimatization to sustain their strength. We always have both listed properly in our itinerary. However certain training like Running, Skipping and other workout will definitely help you in roots.

Acclimatization:
Altitude sickness is a significant risk when trekking on any trails above about 2,500m. However good health, proper care and drinking plenty of water will definitely help you to prevent from altitude sickness. Every trekkers needs to be familiar with the heights so, for this we have lifesaving acclimatization days during the trek, peak climbing and expedition. We also provide certain medical support for your relief and emergency rescue through helicopter whenever guest require.

Eco Friendly:
We only leave foot prints! Global Nepal Treks is very much concern agency on environment pollution and Global Warming. We are always serious and genuine towards our garbage during the trek especially in Camping type. We collect all the rubbish and deposit it to proper place to protect our environment. We also partake in every program conducted in KEEP Kathmandu Environmental Education Project. We also suggest all travelers to protect our environment and Stop Global Warming.
