After a briefing, the highlight of the tour is a scenic helicopter flight to Langtang Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m), a beautiful village nestled in the heart of the Langtang Valley. During the flight, you will enjoy spectacular aerial views of the Langtang National Park, the diverse landscapes transitioning from Kathmandu to the high Himalayas, and the stunning Gosaikunda Lake, with over 1000 other alpine lakes visible from the air.
Upon landing at Kyanjin Gompa, you can explore the ancient Tamang settlement, visit the local Buddhist monastery, and experience a special traditional cheese factory. The area offers close-up views of Himalayan peaks like Langtang Lirung and a chance to immerse yourself in the serene mountain atmosphere. After exploring, you will fly back to Kathmandu.

Helicopter Flight Duration:

Best Season:
The best time is during Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November) for the clearest skies, which are essential for safe helicopter operations and the best mountain views.
Accommodation & Meals:
The package includes 3 nights of hotel accommodation in Kathmandu on a Bed & Breakfast plan, and a farewell dinner. Other meals are not included.

Temple and Monastery entry fees are included. A Nepal visa is required and can be obtained on arrival with cash and passport photos.
