You will also see the Ashoka Pillar, an ancient historical pillar erected by Emperor Ashoka, the sacred Bodhi Tree, and other ancient relics.
The tour also includes visits to the Monastic Zone, where you can explore temples and monasteries built by Buddhist communities from various countries, each showcasing unique architectural styles. You will also visit Kapilvastu and Tilaurakot, the ancient Shakya Kingdom where Buddha spent his early years, exploring historical ruins of his ancestral palace. Other significant sites include Ramagrama Stupa, believed to contain Buddha's relics, and Devdaha, his maternal home.

Best Season:
The best time to visit Lumbini is during the cooler and drier months from October to March, avoiding the monsoon season from June to September.

The package includes 3 nights in Kathmandu and 2 nights in Lumbini on a Bed & Breakfast plan. A farewell dinner with Nepali culture is also included.
