The Nepal Family Tour with Short Hiking / Trekking is specially designed for families who want to experience the best of Nepal – from cultural heritage and mountain views to wildlife adventures – all in a relaxed, family‑friendly pace. This 12‑day journey combines sightseeing in Kathmandu, a short and easy trek to Ghorepani Poon Hill (3,210m), scenic Pokhara, and a jungle safari in Chitwan National Park.
The tour begins in Kathmandu, where you will visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites including Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar Square. You then fly to Pokhara and drive to Nayapul to start the family‑friendly trek. The trek takes you through beautiful rhododendron forests and traditional Gurung villages to Ghorepani. An early morning hike to Poon Hill rewards you with spectacular sunrise views over Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). After descending, you return to Pokhara for sightseeing and relaxation.
The final leg takes you to Chitwan National Park for jungle safari activities: canoeing, elephant breeding center visit, and elephant back or jeep safari to spot one‑horned rhinos, Bengal tigers, and other wildlife.
