This is an 11-day cultural tour with no major trekking. It is considered moderate due to the high altitudes involved, requiring good health and proper acclimatization.
Best Season:
The optimal time is during spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November), when the weather is pleasant and the skies are clear, providing ideal conditions for sightseeing.
Accommodation & Meals:
The package includes a star hotel in Kathmandu and comfortable twin-sharing accommodation at standard hotels in Tibet, all on a bed & breakfast basis. Other meals are not included.
Permits & Visa:
A Tibet Travel Permit is required and is arranged through registered tour operators. Independent travel is not permitted in Tibet. A Chinese visa is also necessary and must be obtained.
