Duration & Difficulty:
This is a 7-day cultural tour with a scenic flight and overland travel. It is considered moderate due to the high altitudes in Tibet (Lhasa at 3,650m), requiring good health and proper acclimatization.
Best Season:
The optimal time is during spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November), when the weather is pleasant and the skies are clear, providing ideal conditions for sightseeing and mountain views.
Accommodation & Meals:
The package includes a star hotel in Kathmandu and comfortable twin-sharing accommodation at standard hotels in Tibet, all on a bed & breakfast basis. A farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant is also included. Other meals are not included.
Permits & Visa:
A Tibet Travel Permit is required and is arranged through registered tour operators. A Chinese visa is also necessary and must be obtained. Visas for Nepal can be obtained upon arrival at the airport.
